Anna Silk

Anna Silk, born January 31st 1974 in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada is an actress most well-known for her role as Bo on The Showcase series Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. She is the daughter of Peter who is a professor, as well as Ilkay Silk, a prominent actor, director, producer, playwright and director of drama of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna remembers watching her mother working and going to the rehearsals for her plays. Silk was a prominent character in numerous commercials when she was a young child. She was in 1997 when she received a bachelor's degree from St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two shows in the early years: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk moved from Toronto to Los Angeles in the years following 1999. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007, when they met during an Actorsworkshop located in Los Angeles. The couple was married in a civil ceremony in December of 2009. They renewed their vows on April 10, 2011, in Fredericton, after the woman changed her religion to Judaism. Silk Cooperman was blessed with her first child Samuel Jerome Cooperman May 2013 Levi Aaron is her second child, and was born on 13th of May in 2016. Silk's work on television is centered around the character Cassidy Holland in Being Erica in which she was awarded the Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. She was given the role as Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian television series Lost Girl in 2009. Silk became pregnant during production of the third season finale episode. The news was announced to the fans during a Showcase pre-show Season Three special on January 6th, 2013. Silk confirmed via Twitter on June 20th 2013 that the series was returning to the production. The fourth season debuted on June 4, 2013 with Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. CNN named Bo's portrayal alongside Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most watched TV couples ever. E! voted it the top couple on TV of 2013. Entertainment Television. Due to Silk's popularity Silk has earned a significant online following on social media.
